Retrospective Exhibition of Work by Island Artist Nan Ferrier

Enjoy the retrospective exhibition of work by island artist Nan Ferrier Eptek Art & Culture Centre. “85 Years of Painting and Drawing” showcases work from various stages in Nan’s art history.

The exhibit features portraits, life drawings, streetscapes, landscapes, figure skaters, moments from everyday life, and other works. Nan Ferrier has also been offering regular art demonstrations most Wednesday and Friday mornings between 10:30 and 12 noon at Eptek. Visitors might even get to hear her playing the piano between brush strokes. This exhibit has been extended into August. Eptek’s on-site gift shop carries only Island art and craft, as well as books on local themes. Be sure to visit the permanent exhibition on the history and architecture of Summerside, too.

Eptek Art & Culture Centre is a site of the Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation and is located at 130 Heather Moyse Drive on the Summerside waterfront, adjacent to the Harbourfront Theatre.

August hours are Tues. to Fri. 10 am to 5 pm, and Sun. noon to 5 pm. Admission is by donation. Operations will be adjusted to follow protocols put forth by the Chief Public Health Office.
