Sixty Days of Fame Exhibit – Sharon Hutchinson

Discover the work of Summerside artist Sharon Hutchinson as part of Culture Summerside’s Sixty Days of Fame exhibition series.

Sixty Days of Fame provides professional and amateur artists with gallery space to showcase their work in a professional setting for two months, while encouraging the community to discover and engage with the arts in Summerside.

For September and October 2026, the series features the artwork of self-taught artist Sharon Hutchinson. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Hutchinson describes herself as a “Free Painter,” creating works inspired by the ideas, images, and experiences that have captured her imagination over the years.

“I can always come up with lots of ideas when I pick up my paintbrush.”

For Hutchinson, painting is also a meaningful creative outlet that helps her manage the stresses and challenges of daily life.
