Sixty Days of Fame Exhibit – ‘Bloomer and Bygones’

“This collection portrays the bliss, beauty and joy of life whilst making space for the quiet reflection of life’s ups and downs respectively.”

On display throughout February and March 2026, Bloomers and Bygones explores themes of beauty, joy, and reflection, inspired by landscapes, seascapes, and the natural world. Working primarily in acrylics, Elise Marie Arsenault-Bowness brings rich colour, texture, and emotion to her work, shaped by decades of artistic practice and a deep connection to nature.

An Acadian artist and experienced floral designer, Arsenault Bowness has exhibited widely across Prince Edward Island and has been an active contributor to the Island’s arts community for many years.

The Sixty Days of Fame ‘Bloomer and Bygones’ exhibit can be viewed Tuesday – Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm at the MacNaught History Centre and Archives, located at 75 Spring Street in Summerside. Admission is pay-what-you-can. Accessible entrance is available.
