Flu Fighters With Special Guests The Ellis Family Band

A Night of Music for a Great Cause

Join us for an uplifting evening where medicine meets music. The Flu Fighters—made up of local doctors—return to the stage in support of the Prince County Hospital Foundation. Best of all, all proceeds from the show go directly to helping patient care in our community.

About The Flu Fighters

From Jam Sessions to the Stage

What began in June 2024 as a way to relax has grown into something much bigger. At first, it was just a few songs among friends. However, their passion quickly built into a full and lively setlist.

Since then, they’ve performed at staff events and community gatherings. As a result, they’ve raised funds and lifted spirits along the way. Last year, they even played to a sold-out crowd—and now, they’re back for more.

Music, Laughter, and Heart

The Flu Fighters are quick to joke, “we aren’t good… but we aren’t bad!” Still, their energy and humour say otherwise. Expect familiar songs, fun moments, and a relaxed, feel-good vibe. Most importantly, they play with heart—for their colleagues, their community, and their hospital.

About The Ellis Family Band

Opening Act: The Ellis Family Band

To start the night, enjoy a performance by The Ellis Family Band. This Summerside group formed in the 1970s and quickly gained national attention. Their sound blends traditional PEI fiddle tunes with country and pop.

They recorded hits like Easy To Love and Thank You For Being My Friend, which reached #1 on the charts. Later, they earned multiple award nominations, including a Juno. Although they stepped back in the 1990s, they returned in 2005 to sold-out shows. Today, they continue to perform and share their signature harmonies.
