Arts Fest 2026 is a vibrant, city-wide celebration of creativity taking place in Summerside, PEI from June 8 to July 4, 2026. Presented by Wyatt Heritage Properties Inc., the festival brings together artists, performers, makers, and the community for nearly a month of inspiring events and hands-on experiences.

From interactive workshops and live performances to public art installations, exhibitions, film screenings, Art Alley, and community art projects, Arts Fest invites everyone to explore their creativity and make their mark.

Draw of Art: City-Wide Magnetic Art

June 8 – July 4 | Various Public Spaces Interactive magnetic sculptures displayed throughout the city.

ArtsSmarts Student Exhibition

June 1 – 19 | Eptek Art & Culture Centre Opening Reception: June 2 | 6 PM – 8 PM Explore student artwork from schools across PEI. Free admission.

Three Oaks High School Grad Exhibit

June 1 – 12 | MacNaught History Centre and Archives Opening Reception: June 3 | 6 PM – 7 PM Celebrate emerging local artists. Free admission.

Weave It Together: Basket-Weaving Workshop

Monday, June 8 | Lefurgey Cultural Centre | 10 AM Join Mi’kmaq artist Noella Moore for a hands-on basket-weaving workshop rooted in culture and tradition. Cost: $40

Film Viewing: Little Lorraine

June 8 | Harbourfront Theatre | 7 PM Special Arts Fest discounted screening of the Canadian crime drama inspired by true events in Nova Scotia. Tickets: Adults $5

Neighbourhood Block Party & Community Art Project

Saturday, June 13 | Leger Park | 11 AM – 2 PM Music, BBQ, and collaborative community art. Free family event.

How to Record an Audiobook Yourself

Sunday, June 14 | Lefurgey Cultural Centre | 1 PM – 4 PM Veteran broadcaster Joe Mahoney shares practical audiobook recording tips. Cost: $50

Live Mural Painting Experience

June 16 – 20 | Art Buds Gallery Watch artist Kiele Poirier create a mural live throughout the week.

Creative Corner at the Library: Paper Collage

June 15 & June 18 | Summerside Rotary Library Free collage workshops for adults.

Olde Fashioned Carnival

Friday, June 19 | Wyatt Heritage Properties Inc. | 4 PM – 7 PM Classic carnival games, miniature horse rides, performers, live music, tea tent, petting farm, and more. Free admission.

National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

Sunday, June 21 | Centre Belle-Alliance | Starting at 1 PM Presented by La Belle-Alliance. Features cultural talks, traditional songs, and a concert by Morgan Toney. Free bilingual event.

Creative Kids Day

Friday, June 26 | Lefurgey Cultural Centre | 10 AM – 4 PM Hands-on workshops, entertainment, and activities celebrating young creativity.

Creative Corner at the Library: Beach Scene Paper Collage

Acadian–Cajun Night with Vishtèn & Louis Michot

Art in Bloom: Art in the Garden

Saturday, July 4 | Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour | 12 PM – 3 PM Live art, music, gardens, and Holman’s famous ice cream in a beautiful outdoor setting.
