Treasures from the NFB: Music & Dance on Film
Presented in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada, the Eptek Art & Culture Centre and Roving Picture Show.
Experience an inspiring evening of short films celebrating the power of music, movement, and artistic expression through the lens of Canada’s National Film Board. This special edition of Treasures from the NFB showcases a carefully curated selection of films ranging from groundbreaking experimental works to intimate documentary portraits of some of Canada’s most celebrated performers and creators.
The program features iconic films by legendary filmmaker Norman McLaren, including the internationally acclaimed Pas de deux, alongside contemporary works and selections from the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards series that honour influential Canadian artists in music and dance.
Admission is free, and voluntary contributions at the door are welcome.
