The Univited: A Ghost Story by Tim Kelly

Seaside Theatre Company presents its sixth production, The Uninvited: A Ghost Story by Tim Kelly, adapted from the novel by Dorothy Macardle.

Looking to escape the demands of life in London, Pam Fitzgerald and her brother Roddy discover Cliff End, a charming but long-empty house overlooking the Irish Sea. Its suspiciously low price seems almost too good to be true—and they soon discover why.

The house has a dark reputation. Strange events, unexplained chills, and the lingering mystery of something that may have happened there fifteen years earlier begin to reveal that Cliff End’s past is far from settled.

As the Fitzgeralds search for answers, the mystery deepens and the unsettling presence inside the house becomes impossible to ignore. What begins as an exciting new home builds toward a chilling discovery: the ghost may not only be real, but dangerous.

Blending mystery, suspense, and supernatural thrills, The Uninvited delivers all the ingredients of a classic ghost story.

The cast features returning Seaside performers Marc Arsenault, Katie Kelly, Carol-Ann Luddington, Zachary Martin, Emmeline Meister, and Meghan Skerry, joined by Seaside newcomers Shannan Bouchey, Crystal Howard, Jameson Layton, and Jackie Sharkey.

The production is co-directed by Katie Kelly and Stuart Smith, with stage management by Jen Desroche and Sara Reid, and Vanessa MacArthur as production coordinator. Produced by Peter Gallant and SMPAC.
