Island Makers – Date with The Den

Are you a Craft Fair shopper and looking for a safe option to buy local? In the current climate, not everyone is comfortable with the traditional format for craft fairs and some island retailers/operators are offering solutions to help.

Island residents will be pleased to hear that there are COVID safe gift purchasing options for their shopping this fall. With many craft fairs being cancelled, due to PEI’s Covid 19 restrictions, some island shoppers will be glad to learn they can still get shopping in, safely, while supporting local artists and artisans.
Date with The Den will showcase 30+ local artisans’ works including: pottery, apparel, rug hooking, tea, fibre art, knitted hats and mittens, watercolour, oil and acrylic painting, cards, photography, soaps, candles, baskets, jewellery, woodwork, iron works and much more.

In a time when island artisans need extra promotion and income from their products, Island Makers – Date with The Den will feature 2-3 artists each day (11 days total), while offering products from all 30+ artist, allowing shoppers a variety of products and time to shop over 6 weekends.

Exclusive VIP shopping experiences will be made available and the opportunity to schedule your EARLY BIRD visit on the day that your favourite artisan will be featured.
