A Historic Setting

Located at 192 Water Street, Evermoore Brewing Co. operates inside the former Summerside train station—a registered historic place and one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Built in 1927, this Tudor-style structure once served as a vital transportation hub, connecting Summerside to the rest of Prince Edward Island by rail.

After rail service ended in 1989, the building was thoughtfully repurposed—first as the community’s public library, and now as a vibrant brewery and gathering space. Its distinctive architectural features—including the hipped roof, wide eaves, exposed timbering, and large brackets—reflect its railway heritage, while its prominent location at the corner of Water and Granville Streets continues to anchor Summerside’s downtown streetscape.

Today, Evermoore carries on that legacy of connection—bringing people together through craft beer, food, and shared experiences.
