Acadian–Cajun Night with Vishtèn & Louis Michot

Experience an unforgettable evening of vibrant roots music as part of the Harbour Highlights series, featuring the powerful sounds of Vishtèn and Louis Michot.

Hailing from Prince Edward Island and the Magdalen Islands, Vishtèn is an award-winning Acadian trio known for their electrifying blend of traditional and contemporary folk music. Following the loss of co-founder Pastelle LeBlanc, remaining members Emmanuelle LeBlanc and Pascal Miousse have continued forward with strength and heart, welcoming back longtime collaborator Megan Bergeron to carry on the group’s rich musical legacy.

Joining them is Louisiana’s own Louis Michot, acclaimed fiddler and lead singer of the Grammy award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers. Deeply rooted in Louisiana French culture, Michot’s music is driven by storytelling, folklore, and a passion for preserving traditions tied to one of the fastest-disappearing coastal regions in the world. With more than 20 albums to his name, he continues to push the boundaries of Cajun music.

Together, these artists create a dynamic fusion of Acadian and Cajun sounds—rich in history, rhythm, and cultural connection.

Don’t miss this high-energy celebration of Francophone music and heritage right here in Summerside.
