Island Landscape Rug Hooking Workshop with Periwinkle Laine at Eptek

Eptek is thrilled to offer a two-day beginner’s rug hooking workshop with Charlene and Debbie of Periwinkle Laine. Embark on a creative journey with the course, ‘Island Tapestry: Hooking the Prince Edward Island Landscape’, where participants will be guided in capturing the beauty of this enchanting island. In this easy-to-follow course (for beginners and experienced rug hookers alike), participants will not only learn but also put into practice the basic techniques of rug hooking. This hands-on approach will enable them to create a hooked masterpiece. Charlene and Debbie will also guide participants in understanding how to add texture and depth to their creations, bringing the essence of the Island to life in their artwork. Periwinkle Laine takes care of everything; all materials and equipment are provided to create a hooked masterpiece, you just need to bring your enthusiasm! The first session of the 2-day workshop will take place on Tuesday, August 6th, with the follow-up session happening on Tuesday, August 13th. Registration is $250, and spaces are limited.
