Lunchtime Film Series: Karsh Is History – Photographing Icons
Join the Friends of Eptek Centre for the Lunchtime Film Series on Thursday, January 29 at noon. This screening features Karsh Is History: Photographing Icons (52 minutes), distributed by Amazon Prime Video.
The documentary explores the life and work of Yousuf Karsh, one of the most influential portrait photographers of the 20th century. Through his iconic images, the film reveals how Karsh captured the personalities behind history’s most famous figures.
The screening takes place in the main gallery at Eptek Art & Culture Centre, located at 130 Heather Moyse Drive on the Summerside waterfront, next to the Harbourfront Theatre. Admission to the film is free. Gallery admission is by donation (suggested $5).
