Lucy Neatby: Knitting Mechanic

The April 2025 LOBBY exhibit at the Eptek Art & Culture Centre is Lucy Neatby: Knitting Mechanic. Lucy Neatby is an internationally recognized knitting designer and instructor living on Tancook Island, Nova Scotia. This exhibit of her original designs features a collection of colourful knitwear and textiles, including socks, hats, and double-knit reversible blankets. A self-confessed “colour junkie,” Lucy loves to share her knowledge about yarn and stitch structure, and her innovative use of colour and pattern will enthrall knitters and non-knitters alike.
