NFB Treasure Series: Oscar-Winning & Nominated Shorts

Discover the magic of Canadian cinema with a special screening from the National Film Board of Canada’s acclaimed collection of Academy Award–winning and nominated short films.

With over a dozen Oscar wins and more than 80 nominations, the National Film Board of Canada is one of the most celebrated film institutions in the world. This curated program highlights some of its most recognized works—including recent award-winning films like The Girl Who Cried Pearls, created with contributions from PEI animator Laura Stewart.

Presented as part of the NFB Treasure Series, this screening offers a unique opportunity to experience powerful storytelling, stunning animation, and world-class filmmaking on the big screen.
