PEI Asian Heritage Month Celebration Closing Ceremony

Celebrate culture, community, and connection at the PEI Asian Heritage Month Closing Ceremony, taking place on May 31 at Credit Union Place. Doors open at 12:30 PM, with the ceremony beginning at 2:00 PM.

Held each May across Canada, Asian Heritage Month is a time to recognize and celebrate the rich cultures and contributions of Asian communities. Now in its fourth year, the PEI celebration continues to grow, with events in both Charlottetown and Summerside highlighting the beauty and diversity of Asian traditions.

This closing ceremony brings together community leaders, performers, and guests for an inspiring afternoon of cultural expression and shared experiences. Past events have drawn strong community participation, gained recognition from Asian media, and even been featured on CBC—reflecting their growing impact across the Island and beyond.

Organized by the PEI Asian Heritage Month Celebration Committee, the event aims to foster understanding, amplify voices, and encourage meaningful connections within and across communities.
