Shipyard Songwriters Series – Alyssa Harper & Kelley Mooney
Join us at the Summerside Shipyard for a special night of songwriting and storytelling featuring Kelley Mooney and Alyssa Harper as part of the Shipyard Songwriters Series.
Hailing from Iona, Prince Edward Island, Kelley Mooney is known for her powerful, expressive voice and deeply personal songwriting. She wrote her first song at just 14 years old and has since built a reputation for performances filled with warmth, humour, and emotional depth. As one reviewer noted, her voice carries “energy, range, clarity, and character”—a sound that stays with you long after the final note.
Sharing the stage is Alyssa Harper, best known as the fierce frontwoman of the hard-rock band Bad Reputation, where her vocals channel the raw energy and attitude of Joan Jett. For this show, Alyssa strips things back for an intimate performance, revealing a softer, more personal side of her artistry rooted in storytelling and emotion.
Together, these two standout Island artists deliver an evening of authentic songs, powerful voices, and honest moments—a perfect fit for music lovers who appreciate strong songwriting in a cozy setting.
Don’t miss this unique Shipyard session featuring two of PEI’s most compelling voices.
