Holman’s Heritage Suites

We offer three suites specifically designed for your extended stay comfort.  Furnished and restored with heritage sensitivity, these suites offer you all the comforts and ammenities of home.  Depending on your needs, there will certainly be a suite that will meet your requirements and exceed your expectations.

Holman’s Heritage Suites are located in the historically significant Holman Homestead.  This home was originally built in 1854 as a parsonage for the first church in Summerside.  In the 1870s, Robert Tinson (RT) Holman purchased the home.  RT was known as PEI’s merchant prince and was PEIs most prominent businessmen during the late 1800s and early 1900s.  His wife Ellen, designed the Holman Heritage Gardens which are said to be the oldest in North America.  The home remained in the Holman family until the 1980s.  Since then, the home has been used as an antique store, museum, restaurant, boarding house, and most recently Holman’s Heritage Suites and PEI’s favourite ice cream destination, Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour.

We are located in downtown Summerside within easy walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops.  Everything you need to enjoy your PEI stay will be within steps of your home away from home.  Within Summerside, you can explore Spinnakers Landing, PEI’s finest waterfront boardwalk, The College of Piping and Celtic Arts, and much much more.
