Live Music with Lisa Birt

Join us for an evening of music with Lisa Birt, a singer-songwriter whose sound blends gospel, blues, country, and rock.

Lisa began her musical journey on Prince Edward Island. She trained as a member of the Confederation Centre of the Arts Girls Choir. In 1999, she chose to pursue songwriting professionally.

Her music has taken her across North America. She has performed at well-known venues such as Tootsies, the Nashville Palace, and B.B. King’s Blues Club in Nashville. She has also played on Beale Street in Memphis.

Lisa spent five years performing in Austin and Southeast Texas. During that time, she drew inspiration from the region’s rich musical heritage. Artists like Janis Joplin and George Jones influenced her sound.

Today, Lisa continues to write and perform music shaped by the stories and experiences she has gathered along the way.
