PEACEMAKER: Outlaw Country

Dusty trails, campfires, old guitars and fast horses. Wide-open skies, smoky honky-tonks, good whiskey, bad heartaches and great music. This is outlaw country.

Make some noise for the debut of PEACEMAKER, PEI’s own outlaw country band, live at the Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre on October 8.

Born from a shared love of classic outlaw country, PEACEMAKER brings together six accomplished Island musicians: Aron Scott on guitar and vocals, Katy Currie on acoustic guitar and vocals, Dan Currie on guitar and vocals, Stéphane Bouchard on bass, Johnny Ross on piano, and Roger Carter on drums.

Expect an evening packed with country classics from around 1980 and earlier, celebrating legendary artists including Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings, and more.

Come raise a glass, sing along, and enjoy a night of good old-fashioned outlaw country with PEACEMAKER.
