Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour is one of Prince Edward Island’s favourite dessert destinations, serving up handcrafted, small-batch ice cream in the heart of downtown Summerside. Whether you’re strolling the waterfront, exploring local shops, or finishing a seaside dinner, Holman’s is the perfect place to treat yourself.

With more than 100 colourful, creative flavours in rotation, there’s something for every taste. From timeless classics to bold, unexpected creations, each batch is made using a rich base of cream, milk, sugar, egg yolks, and Atlantic sea salt. Whenever possible, we proudly use locally sourced ingredients, including fresh ADL cream, milk, and butter.

Our Sweet History

A Sweet Scoop of History

Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour is located inside the historic Holman Homestead, originally built in 1854 as a parsonage. In the 1870s, R.T. Holman—one of PEI’s most prominent businessmen—purchased the home, and it remained in the Holman family for over a century.

In 2016, when the property faced demolition, the Meister family stepped in to preserve this important piece of Summerside’s history. Instead of losing a landmark, the community gained a vibrant new gathering place—now one of the Island’s most beloved ice cream spots.
