Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Fortress of Louisbourg, Artistic Director Bengt Jörgen weaves elements of Canadian history into this timeless masterpiece while preserving the elegance and beauty audiences have cherished for generations.

Featuring breathtaking set designs by Camellia Koo, authentic 17th-century-inspired costumes, and the exceptional artistry of Ballet Jörgen’s professional dancers, this production blends classical ballet tradition with a distinctly Maritime spirit.

Adding to the excitement, local young dancers ages 9 to 17 will join the cast through Ballet Jörgen’s Local Participant Program, sharing the stage alongside professional performers in age-appropriate roles.
