Exhibition – Lobby: Two Magical Journeys

Discover Two Magical Journeys, a captivating collection of artwork by Sheila Forsyth, on display in the Eptek Art & Culture Centre lobby from April 7 to April 26.

This exhibition features original artwork from Sheila’s two newest books. A Whale of a Tale: A Magical Journey highlights her printmaking techniques, with a striking silk-dyed piece created for the cover. In By a Candle’s Warmth, she explores oil pastel on suede matboard, resulting in soft, whimsical imagery.

A multidisciplinary creator—writer, artist, playwright, musician, and scientist—Sheila brings together her passion for nature, storytelling, and science in her work. Alongside illustrations from her books, visitors can explore pieces that reveal her artistic process, as well as a felted work by Vivian Aho, inspired by one of her stories.
