Harbour Highlight: Richard Wood – Through the Years

Back by popular demand, this limited special presentation features Prince Edward Island’s own Richard WOOD, one of Canada’s most electrifying Celtic fiddlers. For more than 30 years, WOOD has thrilled audiences around the world with his fiery jigs and reels, earning five East Coast Music Awards and multiple Music PEI Awards along the way.

Richard WOOD: Through the Years is a powerful live concert experience that blends dynamic performances with stories and rare archival footage from across WOOD’s remarkable career.

WOOD has performed on prestigious stages including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Disney World, and has appeared on programs such as Good Morning America and The Late Show with David Letterman. He has also shared stages with legendary artists like The Chieftains, Rita MacNeil, The Rankin Family, and Shania Twain.

Joining WOOD on stage are original bandmates Kimberley Holmes (piano) and Skip Holmes (guitar & bouzouki), along with Brent Chaisson (guitar & bass).

This event is part of Harbourfront Theatre’s Harbour Highlight Series—performances we’ve carefully selected and brought to Summerside because we know audiences will love them as much as we do.
