Live Music with Karen & Mike

Enjoy a great night of live music with Karen and Mike Penton, a husband-and-wife duo from Summerside. You may know them as the voices behind the alt rock-pop band Soul Filter. They’ve been performing together for over 15 years and bring a fun, relaxed energy to every show. Their set features classic covers, hidden gems, and crowd favourites.

With Soul Filter, Karen and Mike are known for a nostalgic ’90s-inspired sound. Their influences include Alanis Morissette, The Cranberries, and Sheryl Crow. The band reached the Top 100 in CBC’s Searchlight and earned a Music PEI nomination for Rock Recording of the Year. They continue to release new music, including their single The City Knows, produced by John Angus MacDonald of The Trews.

This duo performance is all about feel-good music, strong vocals, and great local talent.
