Lunchtime Film Series: The Nature of Things – Wild Canadian Weather: Cold

Aired in January 2021, The Nature of Things Wild Canadian Weather: Cold distributed by Curio, explores how life across Canada endures and adapts to some of the harshest winter conditions on Earth. Hosted by David Suzuki, this compelling documentary highlights the resilience of both people and wildlife in extreme cold.

From Canadians who push the limits of human endurance to baby harp seals braving icy waters and flying squirrels huddling together for warmth, the film offers fascinating insight into survival, adaptation, and the power of nature.
