This one-day celebration brings downtown Summerside to life, highlighting the small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creative spaces that make the city’s core vibrant and welcoming.
What is Open City?
Open City is an annual event designed to get people out exploring downtown — popping into shops, trying something new, and discovering hidden gems along the way.
From storefronts to sidewalks, the downtown core transforms into a lively, walkable experience filled with energy, creativity, and community spirit.
Whether you’re a local or visiting, Open City is your invitation to experience downtown Summerside like never before.
