Spend your summer sipping seaside; this is your ultimate outdoor dining experience guide.
It may be nearing the end of August, but summer is still here in the City by The Sea, and the awesome restaurants that offer up delicious seasonal eats are still open!
While the days are still a bit longer and the warm weather lasts, sitting deck-side is one of the best parts of the summer season.
In Summerside, several restaurants feature outdoor dining so you can enjoy the ocean air and laid-back atmosphere of the city. This is your ultimate outdoor dining experience guide!
The Deckhouse
Located in Spinnaker’s Landing, The Deckhouse offers a friendly, east coast environment on the Summerside waterfront. Nestled right in the corner of the boardwalk, the Deckhouse provides lower and upper level dining, all while being a stone’s throw from the waterfront.
Favourite features of the seaside restaurant include summer-infused cocktails, local beer and the extreme milkshake.
On the menu are delicious seafood dishes, gourmet burgers, and pub favourites. For seafood lovers, try the super savoury lobster B.L.T. (croissant bun anyone?), fish tacos, Drunken mussels, fish and chips, or house-dipped haddock. For the turf foodies, meals include nachos, wings, various fry options (loaded, poutine, sweet potato), and local Island salads.
