Trad Tunes Workshop with Braedon Quarles

Join Braedon Quarles for a relaxed, hands-on Trad Tunes Workshop designed for intermediate guitarists and fiddlers who want to learn new tunes and play together in a welcoming, collaborative setting.

Held on Sundays at the College of Piping, this pay-what-you-can workshop focuses on building repertoire, exploring harmonies, and developing accompaniment skills—all while enjoying the joy of making music with others.

Braedon is an Ontario-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose acoustic, folk-soul sound draws inspiration from artists like James Taylor, Bill Withers, and Jesse Winchester, with touches of blues and rock. A passionate collaborator, Braedon brings an encouraging teaching style and a love for jamming, folk dancing, and shared musical growth.

What to expect:

  • Learn new traditional tunes

  • Play harmonies and accompaniment

  • Jam with fellow intermediate musicians

  • Supportive, community-focused atmosphere

Bring your instrument, your curiosity, and your love of trad music—everyone plays a part.
