YOUR FALL WISH LIST

Sweater Weather

Have you upgraded your fall wardrobe yet? With the cooler temperatures and shorter days it’s officially sweater weather on PEI. Starting on Water Street, we love to visit Go Girl Fashions and Accessories for our next favourite fall bag, scarf or other seasonal staples. Heading downtown we’re stopping in at Home By Caley Joy, Edge 251, and The Tickle Trunk! Edge 251 has something for everyone while The Tickle Trunk is perfect for the little kiddos in your life! With their new combined retail location ReWilde Bohemium Luxury and Felicity Clothing Baby Boutique now located at 211 Water Street, you’ll be able to put your finishing touches for the whole fam on looking fab for fall.

The Art Scene

There’s something about fall that screams curling up with cozy blankets, your favourite record spinning on the player and spending the day with your nose in a book! If you’re on the hunt for LPs for your music collection, Most Wanted has what you want the most! From classics of yester-year to new music, there’s something for your earbuds to jam to. Now, if you’re more of a reader, stroll among the shelves of Seaside Books’ 20,000 book collection! Featured author L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables is available in multiple editions and is the perfect book to get the fall season underway!

Pampering by The Sea

Feel fresh this fall with a visit to the Humble Barber. Sit back in the chair, enjoy a drink, treat yourself to some time with Sean and the team! We recommend a hot towel and a shave experience for some serious relaxation! If skincare is on your mind, a visit to Mint Spa will set you up with everything you need! Book a facial and then check out their stock of skin and hair care products!

Fall scents and Decor

Strike a match, grab your candle and sit back and enjoy the scents of the season! We love a good seasonal candle and Home by Caley Joy has delivered two (Pumpkin & Pretzel and Acorn & Apple). Or if you’re a fan of incense, stop in to Celtic Mist! And because hand washing is SO IMPORTANT, make sure you visit Soapaholic and pick up their applesauce soap!

With the autumn season, a whole new colour palette comes to life and Little Dutch Flower Farm has captured it perfectly with its Pumpkin Floral arrangements. Shellilee cuts her flowers, arranges them, and then uses a pumpkin as a vase highlighting the season! Since Fiona, Shellilee has been drying a lot of her blooms, using them in the pumpkin arrangements and they are gorgeous!

Warming food and drink

It’s not wrong to love a warm brew on a chilly day. Because apples, cinnamon, and all those seasonal flavours are a favourite right now we can’t miss the chance to drink a cup of Into the Orchard from curated by SipT from Samuel’s Coffee House. Formulated last year, Into the Orchard is the perfect fall tea with notes of apple, cinnamon, blueberry, nutmeg and rosehips.

Now if your stomach is grumbling, we think the Shish Tawook plate from Dino’s can remedy that! With delicious chicken, hummus, tabbouleh and Pita bread it will fill you right up!

Supporting local makers and producers

Now perhaps one of the things we’re most excited about is the Explore Summerside Craft Trail! With dozens of local makers, creators, and producers it will be a great time to support local! From 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on October 16, hit the Credit Union Place for music, magic and making memories!
